I couldn’t recommend bunnyduck more highly. I had the pleasure of working with the founder Michael who is skilled at choosing the proper design principles to ensure the look and feel of my site aligned with my brand and vision. He guided my thinking on all things from appropriate web fonts to content to colour palettes. He also vetoed any terrible design ideas , often without me even noticing. Quite an art indeed! He was a great ‘critical friend’ when needed.
Feedback post launch from people who have visited my website will confirm that Michael is a web designer who understands UX practices and approaches his designs from a user-first perspective. So far, I’ve had only positive feedback with many visitors to my site having special communication needs (including vision impairment and learning disabilities).
Despite being in a digital era I also required a web designer who has print designing skills too. This is another box with Michael absolutely ticks!
As a person who is technologically challenged, I really appreciated the great lengths that Michael went to to effectively convey technical information into clear (some would say ‘idiot proof’) language so that we could discuss options and to ensure we were always on the same page.
I also really appreciated the fact that Michael took time to understand my project’s purpose as well as my expectations of the service. He always communicated promptly (including late night calls) and if he wasn’t sure of what I wanted he’d always consult me to make sure he was on track as achieving my vision was always his top priority. if I wasn’t sure about what to do he would always provide me with constructive and out-of-the-box ideas to optimise the website.
Finally, with the exception of his really (and I mean REALLY) lame dad jokes, Michael is a top bloke, a delight to work with and an expert in his field. Highly recommend! Thanks a million Michael!
