PAYG Websites
What is a Pay As You Go website?
It's 2026. By this point, we’d like to imagine that pretty much everybody knows what a website is and why it would benefit your business to have one – clearly you know this as you’re already here reading about our services. So let us assure you, you are in the right place.
However, we know for a fact that for every one business out there able to drop a few thousand pounds for a bespoke, tailor-made website, there are 100s that simply don’t have the budget. There’s no shame in that at all.
We’ve been making websites for SMEs and tradespeople for years, so we know full well that there is a market for low-cost websites. Given how expensive everything is at the moment, we also know even the more cash-rich companies need to watch the pennies.
That’s why we have re-launched our “low-cost” option web design deal. Sure, we’re more than happy to talk to you if you want something bespoke – indeed, we have an entire Web Design section dedicated to those sorts of websites – but we’re not ignoring those of you who want a nice, well-built, mobile optimised, SEO friendly and eye-catching website to help get your business noticed and take you to the next level.
So we’ve made the Pay As You Go website.

Your Website
We’ll update the template to match your branding, logo, fonts and business sector. A Home page, About Us, Services/Gallery and Contact Page. We also throw in T&C and Cookie Policy text. All we need from you is the “copy” (text) and images you want to use.
Domain Name
To have a website you need a domain name – the .co.uk or .com that people type in to find your site. These are usually an annual cost, but the 12-month renewal of one .co.uk or .com domain name is included in your subscription.
Hosting
Hosting is the online storage of your website. It’s like renting office space, but on the internet – without it, you have nowhere for your business to actually be. Our super fast, GDPR complaint, SSL-certified hosting is included in your monthly fee.
Licenses
We built this template using the same tools that our more expensive, bespoke sites are built with. They’re the best design tools around, which is why we use them. We have to pay to use them, and the cost of these tools is included in your monthly payment, too.
Management
Much like a sports car, having a lovely-looking website is great. However, if you don’t keep it serviced, updated and secure, it’ll soon break down and be worth nothing. Plugin updates and backups are included in the monthly fee, meaning we’ll keep the site online, backed-up and working.
Discounts
The cost of the site doesn’t include content updates. While it’s built to be user-friendly so you can keep the information current, sometimes you’ll want a bit of work doing to change things. If you’re on our PAYG website package, you get discounts on our hourly rate for bespoke work.
What's the catch?
There really isn’t one.
Using a template website is a great option for companies on a budget because it provides a cost-effective solution for creating a professional online presence. Templates are pre-designed websites that can be easily customised to fit your brand and business needs.
By using a template website, we save you time and money compared to building a custom website from scratch. Templates are pre-built with all the necessary components, including the layout, structure, and basic design elements, which means that you can have a website up and running in a matter of hours, rather than weeks or months.
The template has been built from the ground up to allow you to edit as much of it as possible without needing to pay us to do it for you. Basic content, colours and even images can be edited as easily as using Microsoft Word, so you’ll be able to make sure that your website is always showing the correct information at any time.
Finally, using a template website can also help improve your online visibility and search engine rankings. Many templates are built with SEO best practices in mind, such as mobile responsiveness, page speed optimization, and clean code. This means that your website will be more easily crawled and indexed by search engines, helping to improve your search engine rankings and increase your online visibility.
In summary, using a template website is a great option for companies on a budget who want to create a professional online presence quickly and easily. With their cost-effectiveness, ease of maintenance, reliability, flexibility, and SEO-friendliness, template websites can help you achieve your online goals without breaking the bank.
Costs and Timeframes
It’s really as simple as we keep saying. The website is £99 a month, which is paid via direct debit. We’ll keep charging £99 a month and as long as the invoice is paid, the website stays online. When you no longer want it, just let us know, we’ll cancel the payments and the site is gone. Simple!
There’s a minimum term of 12 months, but after that it really is a rolling, no-ties agreement. Your domain renewal, hosting and licenses are all covered by the montly payment, so there’s nothing for you to worry about other than doing an amazing job for your new customers.
And as it’s a template, we can get you online within a few hours of submitting all of your content. Give us your logo, contact details and a few paragraphs of text to explain who you are, what you do and why you do it and then leave it to us. Depending on work-flow with our other projects, we aim to get your new site online within 2 or 3 days of your first payment and submission of all your information.
We don't duck around when it comes to the products, plugins and tools we use to create breathtaking, money making websites.
